Five Minute Face

So I’m not sure if it’s the cold weather or my laziness or a combination of both but recently I’ve had no desire to wear a full face of makeup. This “five-minute face” really is five minutes. It’s so easy and quick! Great for when I’m in a hurry to get somewhere and need to look presentable or just need to feel awake and put together. This has been my go-to look lately. And best of all its only 5 makeup products and probably ones you’ve got laying around at home.

I start with Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer under my eyes and on my chin, and on any blemishes or redness I want to cover. I blend all of that out with a damp beauty blender. I love that thing. It is so easy to use and really evens any product out for a smooth finish. Then I set the concealer under my eyes with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. This just helps the concealer stay in place, plus has little light reflecting particles that make you look awake. Really you can use anything to set concealer this is just my favorite product at the moment. Next I sweep Nars Orgasm Blush (questionable name, great product) across my cheeks. This blush has elements of gold and shimmer which is great when wearing minimal makeup as it also acts like a highlighter. Finally I finish with mascara and some lip gloss. I used Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Petal. Whatever lip color you feel most comfortable and confident in is the best! And that’s it. Five minutes, five products, good to go!
